A110 Reversing light

Can anyone please advise on how to fit the Cibie 1206A reversing light unit to the rear of the A110? Is the bracket supplied used or is it bolted straight through the rear panel without the bracket. If so the studs supplied do not appear long enough to reach.

Hi. Can you post a picture of your light ?
Originally, itwas a R16 unit with a bracket. I removed it and bolted the light through the pannel. Looks correct, but surely others may have different opinions.

Thanks for your reply. Here are some photos of the lamp. This unit was fitted to some Peugeots and Citroens. It seems to me that in all cases with the A110 they were bolted straight through the back panel, as you suggest. However, the studs, as you can see don’t appear long enough for this and I wondered if others had used a form of bracket other than that supplied with the light.

Same lenght as mine, my pannel thickness is original, so just good for the thread length (not an heavy unit, so good blocking washer and nyloc nut are doing the job)
