I am going to look at a gta turbo for sale, what should i look out for to see if it is any good.
It is a 2.5 turbo, 1989, 75,000 miles, sky blue, full electrics, air con, leather,and 17in compomotive alloys and 1 years mot for £4995, the ad also says it is in excellent condition.
this seems quite cheap compared to others i have seen for sale,
So what areas should i look at to tell if it is worth buying.

Buy it!
even though it has some miles on it, these engines, if treated reasonably well, will go forever!
The paint may need restoration. There were a few problems with the top coat of clear laquer.
Have a good look at the frame proper. They may start rusting from the inside!
If the car is in running condition, take it for a ride.
A word of caution, as I just happened to smash my own GTA Turbo. These cars have very low weight on the front axle! Be ware to have good tyres with a somewhat blocky profile up front. Aquaplaning can be a real bitch!
