Alpine Tour Germany 2024

Message

First of all, let me apologise for writing in English. I sadly don't speak french and Google translate ia not very good in translating from English to French.

My name is David and I am part of the Alpine Germany promotion Team. Me and my colleagues did the Alpine experience Tour in the last two years. It was all about bringing the car to the people and giving them the opportunity to drive and experience this stunning automobile.

Additionally we are in the middle of planning a small tour for the owners of the new A110.

We would like to offer a route that starts in Germany, has a little detour through France and comes back to Germany. The duration is only supposed to be two or three days.

So here is my actual question
Can you recommend nice driving routes near the German-French border?

And what would you like to have included, if it would be done for the french customers as well?
Nice routes, with checkpoints, or driven together are an obvious choice, as well as good food and nice hotels to stay the night.

If you have any nice ideas, feel free to comment. There are no wrong answers :bienvenue

Hi,

Maybe « le ballon d’Alsace ». There’s a famous entertainment with old cars riding there, https://monteeballondalsace.com/.

Roads named D465 and D466G. Saint Maurice sur Moselle to Lepuix or to Sewen.

You can use also this kind of tool, https://calimoto.com/de/motorradtouren (a German native one) to build your own road-books, not from scratch but through existing ones and tuning them afterward.

A very nice idea. We were considering something similar for a route through the Austrian Alps, driving along the route of the 1973 Austrian WRC stages (the "Alpenfahrt").
Back in the days those were partially dirt tracks, but now most of them are paved roads.

We would like to couple that with some baseline dynamic driving instructions, so every A110 owner can use their car properly

Nice to see all these Alpine tours and activities. I would like to see something like this organised in the Netherlands but until now there is not a lot happening.

When considering former Rallye glory in german language areas what about this one:

Alpine did win this one without a controversy and you still can drive the tarmac stages today.

Funny I did not think of the Olympia Rallye, since our team actually did a showcase with Testdrives of the new A110 at one stage of the Olympia Rallye 2022 in Regensburg.
We even had the old model with us. Sadly is was just for exhibition.

@ Dave
I don't know of any plans to do something in the Netherlands, but I also don't have any connections to Alpine Netherlands. Sorry

Don't worry David, here the A110 owners will find each other and we will see what happens.

And succes with your tour. Hope to see some nice photos here afterwards.

Thank you so much.

First everything has to be greenlighted after the pitch. But when it happens, there should be enough Photo and Video footage that I can upload here.
