Door adjustment

Hello,

Can anyone please point me to any instructions on how to adjust the doors to shut correctly?

Thank you.

Re: Door adjustment

It will be hard, be prepared!

And don't expect the right door to close properly, there was a defect in the moulds...

Re: Door adjustment

oh ! 300% pure pleasure ! :D :work:

I don't think I have the absolute truth, but I do this :
- install the hinges on the door / on the car, do not tight completely
- install the door on the car
- install the door lock striker, and tight it
- close the door carefully
- adjust the door lock striker in order to have a correct aligment (front / back) and a correct height of the door
(you need to close / open the door, and move/tight the door lock striker many times ! :break: )
- the hinges are not 100% tight : adjust the front position of the door (door closed)
- door closed : tighten the hinges

after this, for me, the settings of the door lock striker and of the hinges on the door were ok.
I just need to adjust only the hinges on the car after installation of the glass (2 people : 1 loosen slightly the hinges on the car, the 2nd maintening the door and moving a little bit, etc)

hope it helps !
