Remplacement Poste Alpine d'origine par un poste Android

Après plusieurs essais, c’est le CarPlay qui plante l’affichage si je suis en sans fil, faut que je vérifie si branché avec le câble ça fonctionne correctement ou pas.
Impossible de faire une vidéo avec l’Iphone de l’écran, dès que je bascule en vidéo, plus de réception radio et impossible de lancer l’enregistrement, faut passer en mode avion pour pouvoir enregistrer une vidéo.

Faut que je teste avec Android pour voir mais mon souci d’écran noir vient bien de mon IPhone en CarPlay.

Pour l’image qui tremble, ce doit être lié également.

Je pense qu'il faut séparer les sujets :
- Sujet 1 : écran noir (entièrement) temporairement : probable mise en sécurité du Joying = sur-tension ou sous-tension (<11v > 14 ou 16V selon modèle de Joying)
- Sujet 2 : Tremblotte sur l'écran : Déjà vu sur d'autre poste dans les cas suivants : Problème de masse habitacle, Problème de longueur/parasite sur le cable nappe du Joying (65 cm étant la longueur max sans ajouter du cuivre autour de la nappe), Probleme de connecteur écran ou jyoing du cable nappe mal enfoncé
- Sujet 3 : écran noir ou perturbé par Carplay : problème jamais rencontré, soit Carplay fonctionne, soit il ne fonctionne pas du tout, mais 'le milieu' n'a pas été observé par les autres utilisateurs

On a déjà échangé, y compris en MP, sur le sujet, je pense que soit ton poste Joying a un soucis, soit ton alternateur et/ou ton faisceau habitacle a un probleme qui te génère des écarts sur la masse habitacle et/ou des écarts trop importants de tensions.

Le fait que désactiver le start& stop te provoque des problèmes de charge y compris avec un chargeur me fait dire que tu devrais voir Alpine sur la chaine de liaison batterie / alternateur. Le Start & Stop ne pouvant/devant pas provoquer de problème

Depuis le début j’ai signalé ce problème de charge chez Alpine et même chez Renault, ils ne trouvent rien.

Mon écran n’est pas totalement noir, il est légèrement éclairé mais sans affichage de l’interface graphique et le son fonctionne.

En CarPlay sans fil mais j’ai le son.

L’écran qui tremble c’est seulement apparu la semaine dernière après sortie de l’hivernage.

Je vais essayer de mettre en ligne la vidéo (IPhone en mode avion) de l’écran sans affichage.

Je pense tirer une masse directe (en volant) depuis la batterie pour faire d’autres tests et voir si le problème vient de là ou pas.

Hi all!

For a year or so I saw this great YouTube video where Philippe uploaded a video about this solution, MyAlpdroid. It took some time to build up courage before I finally did it. During my journey I got to know that the solution is a commercial product now. I live in Sweden and can't buy the product from them if I don't travel to France. Even doe it sounds nice it’s too far. So, I started to buy the things from last year and I now finally did it!

I would like to give my many thanks to Philippe and Dave and all the other that made this possible. Also, I want to donate my part. But the PayPal link does not work anymore, Philippe can you help me here?

Some issues that I have bump into
I bought the Snapdragon version (fake android 12 version ), the link in the tutorial goes the snapdragon version now.
The display is upside down, and the snapdragon version does not have the configure file so it was not possible to change the orientation of the screen (contacted Joying but I didn’t get any solution for the screen orientation). The solution for me was to adapt the bracket that was 3D printed. It worked out well.
The call quality is good; I have no issues with the microphone. And I used the PCB as the tutorial shows with the OEM microphone.
I can’t see the complete screen for the MyAlpdoid app, see the picture:

My biggest issue is the low constant noise (maybe earth problem). I have the focal 2.1 system with the amplifier, and I have a low noise from speakers, have some of you the same issue? When I google it, I can find many complaints regarding this

For the upside down display , you could modify the config.txt file

Like this

config.txt :
ro.sf.swrotation=270 ro replace by ro.sf.swrotation=90, or the opposite. That depends what is the original data from Joying

For upside down screen, yes it is a bad joke from joying and you have to modify the support as you did.

Regarding noise:
- With the amp, there are indeed complaints about noise when using the RCA outputs, but normally, if you followed the instructions, you're using the harness outputs, right? Did you tried EQ adjustement and activate your amp in protocol parameters ?
- Regarding the telephone microphone, I read you're not having any problems. For those who do, the latest version (April 2025) of the SnapDragon firmware fixes all telephone microphone issues.

I have no problem with the microphone. I updated the unit the first thing I did, to the April version so I don’t know if there where a issue before.
Yes I followed the instructions and bought the harness for the Honda car, so the speakers were connected to the black connector. Today I remove the wires from the connector and soldier a RCA connector and connected to the units RCA outputs. The volume is lower, and the noise is very low, you can barley hear it. The positive side is that the sound is better, it´s clearer and has more details. Great news!

I’m very happy with this change, its much better than the original radio. I contacted Alpine to ask if the could make a Software update and add Android Auto and CarPlay, they were not interested….

By the way do you know how to make boot animations logos?

Petit retour sur mes bizarreries autoradiotesques

Je suis parti 8 jours, j’ai laissé l’Alpine sans maintien de charge, ce matin, j’ouvre la voiture et m’installe, le poste s’initialise, tout est OK, batterie à 12,30v.

Je me demande si le maintien de charge (CTEK MS5) ne pourrait pas mettre la panique dans l’Alpine surtout que branché à mon autre voiture, il chauffe et n’arrive pas à aller à la fin du processus de maintien comme mon autre CTEK MS5.

Je tenterai de maintenir l’Alpine avec mon autre chargeur pour voir

Hello all!

I have a issue with the subwoofer after testing to conncet to RCA instead of the speakers output, "the black" connector to the joying unit.
Now it has gone some days, and I noticed that when I connect to the RCA connectors the subwoofer seems to be "disconnected" the subwoofer does not work, have you experience this? I think it’s because the RCA is Low level signal and the speaker’s output is high level signal. The amplifier is original connected to high level signal. Does anyone have some pictures of the OEM premium amplifier? is it possible to switch from high to low?

I´m thinking of buying a DAC,digital to analog with volume, to test the optical connection. I hope this removes the noise and "activates" the subwoofer

Only subwoofer issue, if I connect the speaker to the RCA output on the joying unit the subwoffer is "by passed"

I use the site's RCA outputs and my original woofer amp works.

I think I know why my subwoofer is not working… it’s 100% my fault I did only use 2 channels (only 2 rca connectors, FL and FR), and the amplifier has 4 channels . I will create new cables tomorrow and test…

Retour sur les soucis de poste, hier soir, écran allumé noir (rétro éclairage seulement), pas de son.

Ce matin, idem mais le son et commandes au volant OK.

Reset du poste (depuis l’écran) deux fois, tout est rentré dans l’ordre.

Impossible de réactiver le Stop & Start depuis l’application malgré le fait d’accepter dans le menu.

À suivre mais les jours du poste sont comptés.

Mon poste a définitivement un souci.

Il n’arrête pas de dérailler entre les logiciels soi disant non activés et l’écran qui est soit tremblant, soit noir avec juste le rétro éclairage,, aucun reset n’arrive à remettre ça d'aplomb, je dépose tout et remonte la daube d’origine qui lui, malgré ses gros défauts, fonctionne.

Je verrais plus tard ce que je fais.

J’ai déposé le Joying et remonté la daube d’origine.

Test sur mon bureau avec une alimentation de laboratoire stabilisée, impeccable, même en tripotant tout ce que je peux dans le poste et l’écran.

J’arrive à reproduire les tremblements de l’affichage en descendant à 9/10 volts.

À voir lors des prochains essais.

reprise des soudures du connecteur d'alimentation sur le CI, vraiment pas belles.

Je vais également remplacer le condensateur de filtrage de 10000 uf 25v au cas où il serait de la même qualité que les soudures.
